Located slap bang in the middle of walkway at the GSC cinema, Grid and Go in One Utama (1U) shopping mall is prepared to take waffle into a grab and go trend with swift and quick operational team, offering freshest of fine waffles. Serving a fantastic specialty series and premium series at RM 6 and RM 7 each, these light munches are great bites to take and go in convenient eating sizes. Plus, the servings are totally smuggle friendly (ahem..)
Menu is simple and perfect to accommodate quick and fast ordering, and keeping the menu simple is currently brilliant. And of course, these goodies are prominent carbo so pair that with their house signatures, all served in grab to go paper or plastic cups. I’d say coffee connoisseur to please stay away from their coffee but it certainly is harmless for that caffeine fix. The Sparkling Yuzu juice (RM 5.50) is clever and refreshing, most importantly is guilt free without those extra sugar because the sparkle was merely carbon and not soft soda beverages.
With expedient working space to prep the waffles at speedy pace, each grab is lovely and fresh; with fantastic texture slightly sugar coated on the outside for that extra crisp which is perfect especially when it cooled.
Ultimately, Grid & Go emphasizes on authenticity and having quick waffles to grab and go means no fancy toppings; instead, these Belgian dough were dense and chewy on the inside and crispy outside with clever options of either the house specialty or the premium series to offer. With difference of RM 1, premium has more intense fragrant momentously coming from layered pasteurized cream.
