Pho Vietz at Atria in Ss22 is just what you might imagine a Vietnamese restaurant in a mall would be like: neat, chic, impeccably efficient staff, and meal serving in good portion at speedy pace. Customers are mainly shoppers, but a visit solely for their food is worthy of your effort.
The brand prides itself on using fresh ingredients (ideally as authentic as possible) with impeccable provenance – taste the delicious Vietnamese Spring Roll (RM 8.30),Fresh Prawn Roll (RM 8.30),Steamed Rice Crepe Rolls with Minced Pork (RM 10.50) and the very appetising and refreshing Vietnamese Prawn Salad (RM 15.80).
Other appetiser showcased clever blend of herbs with delicious texture of vermicelli and tender chicken. Spring Roll & Lemongrass Chicken Vermicelli (RM 14.90) is refreshing and at the same time lovely to fit into clean eating diet.
As the name suggests, pho noodle soups are a focus. Pho Vitez emphasizes the offering of Vietnamese traditional pho noodle soup with traditional Vietnamese pho made with flavoursome clear broth. Vietnamese Beef Noodle (RM 17.90) and Vietnamese Pork Rib Noodle (RM 17.90) carry full and intense flavour of rich stocks with balanced combination of different herbs. Alas, some are cooked with industrial supply of stocks.
Did I also mention the profound use of crispy pork lard?
The menu is peppered with a new concept that aims to offer wide variety of Vietnamese food right from the ones of the street and back into the home kitchen for the best of authenticity. With meticulous and imaginative combinations to offer the meal in sets, you get delicious treat of Vietnamese Sour Soup and Caramel Fish Combo with Rice (RM 30.90).
Other rice meals include Marinated Lemongrass Chicken Chop Rice (RM 16.90) and Braised Pork Belly in Coconut Juice with Rice (RM 26.90). The menu also features the Famous Vietnamese Baguette (RM 10.50). Their rice dishes are fantastic for wholesome and is a complete satiation for taste. Braised pork belly done to perfection and I could say the same for their baguette.
There is a long drinks list featuring sweet drinks, milk shakes, tea and Vietnamese Coffee with milk or sugar, served ice or cold (RM 7.90). Uniquely distinctive when it comes to Vietnamese coffees, these are selectively subjected to personal preferences. On the other hand, Six Treasure(RM 7.90) is a common crowd pleaser with refreshing hint of mild sweetness.
