Perfectly tucked within a neighbourhood-friendly shop row, The Kitchen Table Restaurant & Bakery at Damansara Kim is that perfect place for a delicious and comforting meal. Minimally designed with simplicity, this neat tranquility is also a good place for photography. During the day, the room is filled with natural lighting and approaching evening, there is the simple pendant light to illuminate whilst adorning as an interior decoration.
Menu was simpler at the point of our visit but I believe the menu has expanded into something more impressive. What we had were delicious and occasionally there is daily menu, which is amazing as a treat for the neighborhood patrons that frequent the diner and I am absolutely returning again one of these days. There is a good fare for everyone, whether you are looking for an egg-heavy feast, mouthwatering meaty fry-up, or even a complete break from typical breakfast fare with pastries and coffee, one would be able to favourite a selection from your order.
Pulled Pork (RM 12.50) puts together a good compliment of main and side salad with delicious and juicy julienne of beetroots and carrots.
There is no immaculate uniform whatsoever but the easy going charm appeals to the more relaxed type of neighoubourhood diner. Appetizers are fun but something with more depth of flavours means protein packed dishes ideal for weekend brunches. Things like the Roast Chicken Sandwich (RM 15.90) and Fry Up (RM 24) of streaky bacon, scrambled eggs, baked beans add grilled tomato. Their beetslaw is what I really love in their side and the sourdough is one of the very good ones I’ve had in this neighbourhood.
And if sweet is what you love to start the day with, they have beautiful sweet dishes.
The quality ingredients of their small menu has some reasonable priced dishes- but don’t get too comfortable; the place opens with break and while service is helpful, food is to be paid upon ordering at the counter.
