Croutons by Gourmet Seductions at Sri Kembangan is what generally makes a great dining experience. And it isn’t about white tablecloths, pompous descriptions or any of those snooty service. Instead it’s the food that is astonishing, and at the same time inspiring whilst rendering the ultimate comfort of delicious offering.

 

 

Starting the meal with the Pumpkin and Ginger Soup(RM 11.90), this pureed pumpkin Broth infused with ginger is comforting and served family style with lovely and quality ingredients- the same you would use to stir up a good bowl of pumpkin soup for your family. Followed by the very fresh herbs and tossed with parmesan cheese, sweet cherry tomatoes, and balsamic vinaigrette. Aphrodisiac (RM 14.90) is inescapably the salad to go for when you are a big fan of rocket leaves.

 

 

Next is the beautifully presented plate of well cooked fillet of salmon. The Salmon Teriyaki beautifully lying on Sparta salad and accompanied with herby butter rice and standing wedges of fresh tomatoes. The combination is amazing with a wholesome combination of all proteins and carbohydrates.

 

 

The fillet is flexible, so ask for it to cook to your palate (I strongly recommend medium well). That Greek salad beneath the fish is the amazing element that is simple but never taken lightly when the chef is prepping it.

 

 

Want your meal a little more solid? Their Roast Chicken is rather astonishing with aroma of herbs and those lovely cuts of fries. A hearty quarter chicken done very perfectly juicy and tender when cutting it through was very memorable indeed. It is something I would repeat with no doubt at all.

 

 

Go healthy with their Banana Smoothie and you’ll find this delicious and at the same time nutritionally amazing for fitness enthusiast. Sipping their yummy treat was easy. Or, have your caffeine fixed with their selection of espresso based beverages.

 

 

The restaurant is elevating itself with the use of fresh produce and clever execution of presentations on their dishes. Gourmet eateries are often either overpriced or inhabiting uninspiring environs. Croutons can instantly perk up as an instant winner within this neighbourhood but is absolutely authentic yet contemporary with such decent offerings. The dishes are very instagramable too.
