Gangnam 88’s long-standing reputation has not faltered – its BBQ offering maintains good standards and variety, and their staffs being friendly and helpful. It is set to revolutionise Korean dining with their fancy dishes for sure.
Here at the Kota Damansara outlet (I know, why not the Solaris Mont Kiara outlet when it’s within walking distance right?), a couple of us bloggers decided to fill our stomach whilst catching up with one another and this is one of the best with a good option so everyone can have something they like. At the same time, Gangnam 88 is decked out with neat furniture and sophisticated seating, ample to provide a comfortable dining experience.
The meats offered, are of top notch freshness thanks to the healthy flow of orders so one can easily order anything from all the classic choices including marinated meats of variety parts, and then consume at ease in their satisfying recipes. But we are feeling squid instead of meat so we had Squid Jjambbong and Kimchi Soup. With a Jeyuk bbokeum and complimentary side dishes, the entire set cost RM 118 with complimentary steam egg, and it’s called the Friends Set. Such a cute name to celebrate friendship ^^.
All in all, the impressive thing here is obviously the super fancy menu and combo sets offered, that would make your life super easy when ordering. One doesn’t even need to go through the entire menu to actually decide because the combo sets pretty much takes care of your need. Side dishes are considered generous when it comes to assortment.
