Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral launched the first food truck by a hotel in Kuala Lumpur, and that we are looking at Re: Fuel on Wheel. It is offering Street grub on the streets of Kuala Lumpur Sentral at the port a cochere of the hotel. This one is making them the first hotel in Kuala Lumpur with a food truck. The idea was brought about in the spirit of Aloft brand’s credo, Different by Design, to offer something out of the ordinary and an exciting dining experience for the hotel’s customers. And with this attractive concept to cater to the always-connected lifestyle of today’s traveler and the quick millennial generation, the idea for a food truck was born with a manual designed to provide quick bites for on-the-go crowd and for diners looking for comfort food that is simple and fuss free.
Mr. Greg Gubiani, General Manager of all of Kuala Lumpur Sentral, lead the team in conceptualizing and realizing the idea of being the first hotel in Kuala Lumpur to offer food truck services to its guests and clients alike. And being strategically located at Kuala Lumpur Sentral, the transportation hub of Kuala Lumpur, we can now have a wider selection of comforting food at a very affordable price. With this food truck there will be tons fun and lip smacking experience so whether you are a traveler or the corporate crowd, Re: Fuel on Wheel can be the good alternative for breakfast and lunch on weekdays. Or if there are any private events or catering for corporate and social functions, there will be plans for it to be available for hire at external venues in the very near future. Headed by Chef Mohd Faizal, the menu consists of a mixture of both Wstern and Malaysian influences.
Breakfast starts from 7am to 9am and lunch begins at 11am to 3pm daily on weekdays. Packages are cleverly done for easy and quick on-the-go. Look at this Nasi Lemak (RM 8) and vermicelli. Gravy and soup are fuss free and ergonomically packed. Super loving it.
