The decor might be simple and even maybe borderline close to sloppy, but comfort dining is rest assured. Don’t expect contemporary and bold fusion but do prep yourself for some authentic Thai fire and superb cooking including stalwarts like tomyam and padthai. They have always been one of the biggest native crowd pullers and quite rightly so; the establishment imports Thai products and occasionally sells some really interesting street snack that is much loved by the Thai native community on top of the delicious cooking.

The menu is pared down to classics of Thai authentic flavours, all well prepared in both set and ala carte dishes for communal eating. Prices weren’t cheap thou but solo dinning is easy with their set serving that comes with rice and accompanied with a little bit of vegetables. I am happy it isn’t white rice (sometimes I like bluffing myself to some extent, haha. Don’t judge me). Fried Basil Leave with Pork (RM 10), Pork Leg with Rice (RM 10), as well as Noodle in Thickened Soup (RM 7) not only looks terrific but decently portioned as well. Add on the BBQ stuff. Grilled Pork Neck (RM 4) was delicious tender and juicy and best to go with some beer.

Fish is available at a standard pricing of plus-minus RM 40 and it’s highly doubted that it was a popular choice. They are not spotted on any tables amidst the crowded hungry customers. Soups and Tomyam made appearance at few tables so I tried and while comforting, it was but at the same time really warming you up when especially seated in the low ceiling and badly ventilated shoplot. Prepare boxes of quality tissue paper.

The narrow dining room is often packed and be prepared to share a table with stranger anytime during peak hour but it remains a cut above several local Thai establishments within the vicinity.
