Treating the salmon lovers with thick succulent cut of fresh Salmon at affordable prices of RM 10.90, and at the same time bound to thrill dinners with a total palate and sensory immersion would be their Sakae Salad (RM 13.90). Specialty salad consisting of salmon sashimi, snow crabstick, Japanese omelette, sweet beancurd skin, seasoned seaweed & jellyfish, fried salmon skin, tanuki flakes, assorted vegetables and a unique house dressing. A mixture of texture and flavours in one.
Sakae Blossom(RM10.90) is another fruit of Sakae’s passion for innovative culinary creations. With a beautiful bloom of grilled intricate swirls of fresh salmon on top of maki sushi with kani salad, flying fish roe and mayonnaise, decorated with parsley leaf.
The irresistibly creamy and succulent Hotate Mentaiyaki (RM22.90) features 4 pieces of grilled oysters topped with rich codfish roe mayonnaise and cheese. Oyster is grilled for extra aroma and fragrant while the creamy mayo cheese protects the succulent in each plump piece of scallops.
For a delightful crunch and crisp, Sakae’s Tempura Moriawase showcased large prawn and assorted vegetable coated with tasty tempura crunch and balanced with a good flavour from the dip with grated radish.
Another must-try dish is the Salmon Natsu Itame (RM 10.80), a tantalizing combination of succulent grilled salmon, brinjal and butterfish on pizza bread, completed with a drizzling of flavourful wafu and teriyaki sauce. Wafu sauce was impressive but brinjal and butterfish did overpower salmon yet it was well complimented by the texture of pizza bread.
Sakae Signature has consistently been popular among diners seeking a fresh twist to their Sakae experience. On top of sushi, ramen is another scene stealer when it is served with very generous assortment of seadoof and vegetables in kimchi soup. Kaisen Kimchi Ramen sells at RM 22.90.
Sum up the meal with Vanilla Ice Cream and Shiokoji Collagen (RM 6.90). A scoop of vanilla ice cream with collagen beads and decorated with strawberry and biscuit stick. If not, there is the sesame or seaweed flavour for the sweet tooth.
