Bofe eatery makes a good addition to the patron in Seksyen 19 with their diverse offering of both western and Asian fusion dishes. With a good spread of impressive ingredients that is both fresh and generous, dishes and beverages showcase perfect selection for everyone. And with decent layout to accommodate both large and small crowds, it makes this a perfect place for casual meals and occasional gatherings.
Starting with their beverages, a one page menu that offers classic choices of teas, coffee, sodas and Fresh fruit mixes. Juices for anti aging, anti oxidant, appetite stimulant, cholesterol buster, detoxify and immunity builder and more for a selling price of at RM 8 – a rather good price for a glass of fresh fruit mix.
Appetisers and starters were not crowded woth too much choice and each strictly at starter pprtion. Truffle fries (RM 8.9) serves as straight cut fries with dash of truffles oil and topped with parmesan cheese. Both mellow and mild but still pleasant when it’s crispy.
Special menu of the day emphasizes their Soft Shell Crab Pasta In Salted Egg Cream (RM 21.90) with amazing Al Dante texture perfect to my liking and generously coated with thick sauce made with rich salted egg. Portion is generous and may in fact be a little cloying for small eaters but I really love the texture of their pasta.
Or something less cloying, Prawn Penne for those who likes prawn. The clean aroma with the sprinkle of parmesan on top was great combination with the herbs.
Bangers and Wasabi (RM14.9) is this interesting fusion combination of chicken banger burger sausage served with wasabi mash and sweet onion sauce. Served with wedges, would be a good order for meat lovers.
Fish lovers should be glad to know that Grilled salmon teriyaki (RM18.9) serves with a plump slice of a good salmon cut, cooked with the perfect cooking time to preserve the moist inside the thick fillet. This pan fried salmon is glazed with balsamic teriyaki and served with pilaf rice.
Also at the from the barn is their Goma Duck Breast (RM 19.9), showcasing a pan fried duck breast served with mash potato and roasted sesame sauce.
Spaghetti Aglio Olio Peperoncino comes with few selection of choices but the Mushroom and Vegetable (RM15.90) is a good choice if you want to eliminate meat.
Others on the menu include a nice range for kids meal which is rather impressive since not many eateries actually allocate a page in their menu for kids. Kudos to that. The cosy setting set back the hustle and bustle and creates a pleasurable dining experience. It is a good place for casual dining and occasions.
That main concern almost all Malaysian must inevitably be the parking availability when it comes to dining out. Parking was a breeze for me on this Saturday lunch hour so I presume it might not be so much of a challenge.
