Enlighten your palate with the Spanish flavours at the Prince Hotel with their Spanish dinner buffet at the Eccucino with Chef Jordi Gimono from Barcelona. Showcasing the chefs masterpieces, classic Spanish dish like the Paella, Banderillas, Spanish Omelet and more are amongst the many varieties offered in the buffet range.
Live station preparing and showcasing a live demonstration on the spot and while waiting time is a little longer when there is a crowd, it was worth the wait.
Seafood paella is one of the icon of Spain’s cultural identity hence a must try.
Other spectacular flavours , include the Chicken and Beef Croquettes (Croquetas de pollo y buey) or Spinach and Pear Fritters with Almond (Bolas de espinacas con pera y almendra) served beautifully in cocktail sizes.
From the barn, there is the Spinach Kebabs with Chicken, Prawn, Beef and Fried Manchego Cheese Pintos (Pintxos de pollo, gambas buey y manchego frito) or the Beef Sirloin in Salt with Orange, Chilli and Garlic (Entrecot a al sal con maranja, guindilla y ajo).
If meat is not your thing, the fish dishes were fascinating and glorious when it comes to varieties and assortment. Red Snapper with Capsicum Sauce and Prawns (Pargo en salsa de pimientos y gambas) and Grilled Snapper Fillets with Tamarind and Spicy Soy Sauce were flavourful and a delightful enjoyment.
Of course lighter bites are all available and thats one of the joy in buffet; to enjoy and taste as many flavours as possible.Trio of Spanish Omelet with Catalan Bread (Trio de toryillas espanolas con pa amb tomaquet) presents various tastes with one simple main ingredient.
The classic Spanish dishes are charming but fear not if one is worry that the exotic flavours may not suit the local palate. Apart from super authentic Spanish delight, you’ll find things we are all familiar with. Salads and cold dishes or their Fried Cauliflower with aioli (Coliflor con allioli), Sauteed Baby Potatoes with Chorizo (Patatas con chorizo), and even dishes like the Kambing Masuk Kurma.
Desserts incorporate local favourites and there is always joy at the dessert corner with such vibrant presentations.
Also there to entertain the guests was a showcase of performances of classic Spanish dance and music.
‘’Viva El Sabor” at Eccucino is priced at RM98++ per person and children under 12 years old dine complimentary with every paying adult from 31st Octbor to 9 November 2014.
