The BBP Gastropub @ The Club, Bukit Utama

 

There is no problem prying the kids from their ipads when there is plenty to do at the #theBBP at The Club, Bukit Utama. It’s indoor and semi alfresco dining experience offers stations with delicious food and bar with beers and other boozes; and loaded with kid-friendly activities. Indoor, there are some corner tables slightly cozier than the sunny but breezy alfresco; and outdoor, there are plenty of space and gazing opportunities over those high stools and bar tables.

 

 

And the food stations are great not only for sampling, but to have your food preparation done upon order.

 

 

The décor with alfresco and high stools and plain picnic tables at the courtyard under the sun (although I highly doubt many Malaysian’s actually appreciate dining under direct sunlight) couldn’t be simpler, nor could the delicious Pork Platter of a combination of tasty bet for beer pairing. And on any regular day in our weather, beers are the best cooling ingredient at any time of the day.

 

 

I recommend sharing and easily some 10 laps of extra swimming after the meal. Pork Sausage (Hungarian and Italy) (RM7 per piece), Pork Bacon Mash Potato (RM6), Charcoal garlic bread (RM12), Caramelized Pork Belly (RM18), BBQ Iberico Pork (RM40) and Pork Knuckle of either half (RM40) or whole (RM75) serving to fulfill your pork craving.

 

 

Raw selection is equally attractive, I am happy with the salad bar. Oysters are attractive if you fancy them but it wasn’t serving impressive sizes. Oysters on the other hand, are charged per pieces accordingly.

 

 

The BBP launch took place last November and from what’s observed at the launch, this place is great for parties or simple a family gathering or a simple catch up with friends. Take a posse and book, or insist on sitting at the bar for maximum enjoyment over a booze or two.
