#theBBP gastropub at the Club Bukit Utama joined the lou sang hype, this one done in porky style. Already serving a lineup of good old fashioned porky delights like the BBQ meats, caramelised pork and traditional ribs, the seasonal dish for the festive now presents the Suckling Pig*.
Celebrate this festive with the lou sang tradition and do it ala #BBP style with a load of Jamon Iberico instead of common fish slices in the spotlight and rained with a generous dash of crispy pork lard and bacon crackle; namely “Chu” Sang (RM 49 for half portion and RM 88 for full portion), the combination of all flavours of the pork and mixtures of textures were fantastic.
The grill and BBQ fire up a variety of meat platter with high quality meat that is fresh and chosen by customers themselves at the meat station. I’ve seen that during their grand launch but the Suckling Pig* (RM 350) was the enticement this time around.

And fear not if piggy isn’t your thing, because there is the flaming bird beautifully grilled to nice and juicy meat. Stunningly flamed all the way while the bird stands tall atop a bed of vegetables, eating this dish is equally as much fun as watching the Beer Can Chicken(RM 78) burning on the plate.
There are plenty of casual smiles, laughter and joy, with tons of vibrant vibe floating around to pack this place as a great location not only for their mouth watering servings of porky dishes and finger licking pub grubs; but a lovely meeting point for after work drinks, and now a laid back and relaxing weekend brunches. Brunch hours starts at 11 am and stretches to 3 pm for sleepy heads like myself. Options to build your own brunch are available but those whom are indecisive, ala cartes are available. BBP Omelette (RM 20) will serve tomato bread, baked beans and bacon mash, with choices of toppings including bacon, cheese, mushrooms, tomatoes, onions, and sweet pepper.
Spicy Pork Sandwich(RM 25) answers your prayers if pork is your kinda breakfast. Serving pork steak, nachos, cheese, tomatoes and fries, this one is not for those who nibble.
Did I mention? Live band performs during the entire brunch hour and while the crowd keeps the place constantly abuzz, the venue conveniently furnishes comfy and relaxing surroundings for diners to lounge and chill.
Take note to register for #theBBP “chu” sang party on 4th February (6 pm onwards) at their Facebook page and this is strictly limited to 100pax.
