The festive celebration here is all about dinner feasts with traditional and modern touches. Mezze Bistro Bar at Medan Damansara is cosily transforming the season into a chic diners bistro. The bar restaurant is offering a very special treats this season, from slow-cooked and Turkey Roulade and stuffings, to clever fusion of chutney into lamb Loin dishes.
Christmas menu offer choice of starters from Terrine De Foie Gras served with mango chutney and fig bread to Leek, Roquefort and Escargot Stew in Puff Pastry, and Mille Feuille Smoked Salmon with Lemon Mascarpone. All of which promises lovely comfort that’s appetising to have you digging into the choices of mains before sinking your teeth into some of their dessert offerings.
The mains serve a diverse choice of classic bird and some of that clever fusion with touches of asian flavours, as well as those healthy protein harvested from the sea. It all comes down to your own preferences, I personally love the fish. Not only is that a lighter choice of meat source, it has the sweetness from Clams and prawns that’s refreshingly delicious and easy to consume.

The classic holy night wouldn’t end without a traditional log cake and their rendition of Chocolate X’mas Yule Log is fantastic if not the best to end the meal for the festive. Otherwise, enjoy a hefty drizzle of sweet and delicious fresh berries on the Red Fruit Pavlova with Balsamic Vinegar Reduction. The meal serves at RM 160++ per person but of course especially for wine lovers, RM 140++ for 4 glasses of wine is an absolute supplement for the meal.
And to usher the new year, Mezze has got their cheerful course meal with delightful Roast duck Fillet with coffee & Peach coullis with sides of Polenta, Cod Fish with Macadamia Crunch & Spelt Risotto, Roasted Tomato in Vine & Hazelnut Puree or the Tournedo Rossini with Royal Sauce & Foie Gras to savour.
The new year menu is going for RM 185++ per person with RM 140++ for 4 glasses of wine to toast for the best of 2017 as we bid farewell to year 2016. The starters and choice of desserts were as charming as their Christmas offering; I had a hard time deciding which exactly caught me off the hook. Choices of starters include Lobster Salad with Persimont Fruit, Crab Chowder with Sweet Corn Foam and the Roast Vegetables with Chimichumirri Dressing. While we battled over which kind of home soup is more comforting with memories of comfort that lingers, this one in Mezze reign with no doubt as the most delicious sort of comfort. I on the other hand, was in love with the roast vegetables.
Although challenging when deciding on the starter, dessert will be even worst of a battle. To make things easy, take a pick on whether you like vanilla ice cream or bailey custard.
