The month of August has plenty of reason for celebration and Renaissance is celebrating Malaysia with a symphony of flavours at the Dynasty Restaurant. In conjunction with the upcoming 60th Merdeka Day, executive sous Chef Kok Chee Kin’s Signature Peking duck is available for dinner at RM 60.60 nett per bird with any main course or a side dish from the ala care menu. Available for dine in only, the renowned Signature Peking Duck is marinated with spices and Chinese herbs before roasted in traditional charcoal – fired roasting oven. Served and handcrafted at the dining table to wrap with homemade pancake, scallion, cucumber, carrot and plum sauce, with the star and spotlight on the crispy duck skin; this one is a great way to start indulging the roasted duck.
The remaining is brought back to kitchen and cooked accordingly to our choice of preparation. Follow up from the delicious wraps; we proceeded with fiery hot and delicious Stir Fried Sliced Duck with Dried Chili. The chili seeds and finely chopped garlic is a fantastic and clever pair with the succulent pieces of duck meat. And the seafood braised rice with diced duck in it is such a comforting dish.
And to keep celebrating the month’s festive, don’t forget to also capture the spirit of mid autumn festival with the traditional delicacy – mooncake. Offering a selection of 12 types of baked and snow skin, there is something for everyone with the baked ones getting more applauses than the later.
