家香 Mix Rice

Teochew porridge craving kinda day

The geography determines the palate when it comes to food and Teochew food is one that’s very widely consumed when the ancestors arrived Nanyang. Since then the straits Chinese has got their unique way in presenting the palate through flavours infused with the growth of multi-cultural presence in our country. Nowadays, most chap fan place makes porridge decent enough to fix that crave but the only thing of top concern is probably the pre-cooking handles. It would be such a bummer if a delicious spread as such is jeopardised by evitable flaws like a mouthful of dirt still trapped in between them vegetables! Yup… You’ve guessed it right. It happened to me here.

But that aside, I must highlight the vegetarian dishes. Vegetarian and vegan diet can be real challenging at times considering decent vegan option is usually fancier as it is considerably an uprising trend. Vegan specialty foods are sometimes more expensive than their nonvegan counterparts, but fortunately for mix rice places like Ji Xiang, they aren’t the only options. Ji Xiang cooks a good variety vegetarian and vegan selection, making it convenient for any diet preference.

I am careful with my food intake and is actively advocating healthy eating as I progress in this line of work. I must emphasize the difference between posting for social media and realistic posting when it comes to food intake. The overabundance of selection can be very encouraging when it comes to deciding on the dishes, so keep in mind to being mindful of selection, as well as the portion.
