JWEL, The Royal Range of Ice Cream Sticks by F&N Creameries Malaysia

 

After the roadshow two weeks back, I’ve been treating myself with the fascinating cast of five nobles, each of whom presents a distinctively delicious premium ice cream treat by F&N Creameries Malaysia. Putting a story to each flavour was inevitably a smart move and the story behind JWEL, the ice cream empire can be quite an interesting story telling session with ice cream treats as the grand finale. There is the Tiramisu, Vanilla, Double Chocolate, Caramel and Black Forest, each representing a character at the Ice Cream Empire.

 

 

And if putting more effort, you get more than just a luxurious ice cream experience with fruits being the best accessories to the perfect and simplest plate of luxurious dessert. I like mine with some extra chocolate, strawberries, blueberries and sunflower seed.

 

 

Richly coated in thick, almond-flecked chocolate, every stick introduces its own indulgent twist to their classic flavours. Almonds add to the crunch and the sensation when biting onto the thick chocolate crust was enthralling.

 

 

JWEL offers a unique experience by turning the ice cream category rules upside down. It is a luxury product that treats itself with a touch of irreverence. The JWEL name itself bends the rules, wittingly inserting a diamond and shortening the accepted spelling – putting a new twist on luxury. True connoisseurs, seekers of indulgence, are rewarded for daring to be different; with a kindred sense of humour and wit that mirrors their own. Beneath those luxurious chocolate coat, is the delicious ice cream that’s creamy and luscious, yet not too sweet even though I would appreciate a smoother texture.

 

 

With 5 assorted flavours to offer, each selling at a suggested retail price of RM 3.70 per stick. My favourite is the double chocolate but vanilla would be the classic indulgence.
