From a good lineup of salads and starters to mains of both Oriental and Western dishes (with highlight of kampung classics to reminisces those traditional flavours); to freshly prepared signature classics and the variety of Malay Kuih, Utara Coffee House is offering all the festive favourites at an affordable price of RM 78++ for adult and RM 39++ per child starting 6th June – 5th July 2016.
With dishes not common to be seen at urban diners, the variety of appetizing starters likes fresh ulam with sambal belacan, cincaluk, assorted jeruk budu, rojak buah buahan, kerabu soo hoon, kerabu mangga, kerabu kacang and nasi kerabu, plus savories like pasembor with condiments; and a diverse cold dishes and starter like the fresh oysters, salad, pasta salad, as well as sushi and maki rolls, the gastronomic journey is promising with the choices.
The mains were surely impressive- what’s showcased at the display really did not do them justice. Diners satiate amazing assortment of traditional recipe from skillful preparation method and the pick of fresh and quality produce to make sure this brings back all the nostalgia of balik kampung.
Aplenty of offerings from the barn but protein sources from sea is not lacking in any bit. Dishes like the Siput sedut masak lemak cili padi, sambal udang petai, buttered salted egg prawns, ketam masak guali siam, or the kari kepala ikan salmon are sure to charm the seafood lovers.
The list goes on with live stations firing up delicious asam laksa with condiments and the Thai laksa. And at the carvery, there is the leg Roast Lamb with Gravy and Mint Sauce
